VBF Restructures Working Groups Following Government Merger

Hanoi, July 2025 - In response to recent structural changes within the Vietnamese Government - most notably the merger of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) into the newly formed Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE) - the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) has announced a corresponding adjustment to its internal structure.
To reflect the new governance landscape and ensure continued relevance in policy dialogue, the VBF Environment Working Group and Agriculture Working Group will be consolidated into a single platform: the AgriBusiness and Environment Working Group. This restructuring aims to strengthen coordination, enhance integrated advocacy, and promote a more holistic approach to sustainable development, natural resource management, and environmental protection.
The new Working Group will be co-led by Ms. Van Ly, Partner at Raise Partners (AmCham), and Ms. Kim Le, Co-Founder and CEO of CL2B (GBA/EuroCham).

About the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF)
Established in 1997, the VBF is a partnership between the Vietnamese Government and the business community, dedicated to promoting a favorable business environment, encouraging private sector investment, and fostering sustainable economic development.
VBF currently operates 12 Working Groups (down from 13), all of which are open to all AusCham Members.
