VBF - Survey on Work Permit Issues for Expatriates in Vietnam - COB, 10th December 2024

The Vietnam Business Forum Human Resources Working Group (HRWG) is conducting a survey to gather insights from HR professionals on the work permit processes for expatriates in Vietnam. This initiative aims to understand and address key aspects, including:

1. Work Permit Experience: Understanding how recent regulatory changes, such as Decree 70, have impacted the efficiency and clarity of work permit processing.
2. Work Permit Challenges: Identifying specific obstacles your company faces, from regulatory complexities to inconsistent guidance from authorities.
3. Managing Work Permits for Multi-Location Assignments: Exploring the difficulties in obtaining and managing work permits for expatriates operating in various provinces.
4. Feedback and Suggestions: Gathering your valuable recommendations to improve the work permit system and support your investment decisions in Vietnam.

As part of HRWG’s advocacy efforts, by sharing your experiences, you will help us identify key issues and develop actionable recommendations to the Government counterparts to align the process and reduce administrative burdens, which benefits the entire business community.
