Sam Conroy has been nominated as President of AusCham for 2024-25.

Originally from New South Wales, Australia, Sam held senior leadership roles at Linfox Logistics Australia while completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management from MGSM in the early 2000’s. In 2009, Sam was expatriated to Vietnam as Linfox Logistics Operations Director. His three-year tenure in Vietnam laid the groundwork for further roles across the globe. Sam then transitioned to Schenker in Singapore, followed by a pivotal return to Vietnam in 2014. Here, he served as the Head of Contract Logistics for Maersk before taking on roles as Country Head for Myanmar and  CEO Middle East based in Dubai.

In 2018, Sam made Vietnam his permanent home after CEA was founded in 2016 and he assumed the role of Managing Director and in 2020. Sam was an AusCham Board Member in 2011, and rejoined Auscham a on the steering committee for the newly established AusCham AusHub in 2022, and became board member in 2023.

Sam Conroy’s leadership promises an exciting chapter for AusCham, bridging Australia and Vietnam with vision and dynamism.
