26th February - Labor Code 2019: What are the Main Changes Businesses Should Know?

  On November 20th, 2019, the new Labor Code (LC) was voted and approved by Vietnam National Assembly (NA). The amended content is focus on terms of application scope, working-hours and overtime, retirement age, the right to establish a representative organization of employees in the enterprise, labor contract termination, and many more. At the macro level, the Labor Code bring Vietnam is closer to international standard. It’s a stride in ensuring a balance of rights between employees and employers.
