This exchange program provided an opportunity to broaden her leadership skills and build a wide network with American partners and emerging leaders from different countries who work in the community development sector.
Thao believes that every individual has the ability to make the world a better place, and “the way to change the world is through individual responsibility and taking local action in your own community” (Jeff Bridges). This inspires her to align herself to the Community Development sector. |
