John Ditty, Partner, KPMG Tax and Advisory LimitedJohn has been living and working in Vietnam since 1993 and he is currently responsible for Citizenship and Sustainability in Vietnam and Cambodia.  John has extensive experience in managing and coordinating numerous audit and advisory engagements in Vietnam and Cambodia.  He has experience in leading large teams of people from different cultural and professional backgrounds and a proven record in delivering results in difficult internal and external environments.  Through his experience John has developed a wealth of knowledge and understanding regarding business and business practices in Vietnam and Cambodia and has assisted many businesses (state owned, privately owned, foreign owned) to succeed in Vietnam and Cambodia.
Mimi Vu, Partner, Raise Partners Mimi Vu is partner at Raise Partners, a consulting practice that helps nonprofits, philanthropists, corporations, and governments work in partnership to achieve their highest social good.  She has nearly 20 years of nonprofit experience in communications, policy, fundraising, and advocacy for organizations including Pacific Links Foundation, VinaCapital Foundation, International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, Council of Fashion Designers of America, Robin Hood Foundation, and East Meets West Foundation. Her areas of expertise include: Human trafficking, modern slavery, and irregular migration; gender equality; public health; law enforcement training; transparency in supply chain; corporate social responsibility and citizenship; fundraising and partnership strategy; public-private partnerships; campaigns; NGO/NPO capacity building; research; and diaspora engagement. Mimi is a leading expert on Vietnamese trafficking and modern slavery and provides commentary for media outlets such as the Washington Post, Guardian, BBC, Reuters, Associated Press, AFP, CBC, South China Morning Post, and Sky News. In 2017 she was recognized by The Evening Standard (UK) as one of their “Anti-Slavery Heroes.” Mimi has undergraduate degrees in English Literature and French from the University of Michigan and an MPA in International Nonprofit Policy and Management from New York University. She is a native of Flint, Michigan and has been based in Vietnam since 2006.
