AusCham August 2021 Sundowners Goes Virtual.
The days of restrictions are familiar in a COVID-19 era of social distancing and lockdowns; people are experiencing isolation related anxiety and potential health side effects; with this in mind, AusCham is moving the monthly Sundowners networking event to a Virtual Platform using ZOOM for people to connect from virtually anywhere on the globe but with a focus on the major cities in Vietnam being Ha Noi, HCMC and Da Nang.
The Sundowners August edition will follow the same format as other Sundowners events held over the past 23 years of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. An AusCham virtual Sundowners means your health, which is paramount is protected – stay at home, stay in the office, there is no need to book a taxi or Grab and no drama finding a car park or contending with traffic if it’s raining – so now you have no excuse not to attend. We hope to see you at our virtual Sundowners at 6:00 pm on Thursday 5th August 2021.
The night will have MC’s, guest speakers, prize giveaways, new member updates, event updates and news items – this will be totally interactive by way of questions to the MC’s.

Denis BrunettiPresident of Ericsson Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and LaosDenis Brunetti is the President of Ericsson Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos since July 2017. Prior to his current role, Denis was Country Manager of Ericsson Sri Lanka & Maldives.
He has been involved in the global ICT industry for 30 years, having held leadership positions within Ericsson across a range of countries, including Australia, Sweden, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
Denis proudly served as the Co-Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam in 2018/2019, as well as Co-Chairman of the Industry 4.0 Advisory Group in VCCI (Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and is currently Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD).
Denis received a recognition from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on 28th November 2018 for his contribution to Sustainable Business Development in Vietnam.

Simon FraserExecutive Director, AusCham VietnamSimon Fraser is the current Executive Director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce Vietnam and is located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Simon has been living and working in Vietnam for 14 years in General and Operations Management across media, BPO, RPO and Recruitment industries. He has spent almost 18 years working across the Asia Pacific region and has a deep cultural understanding of living and doing business in one of the most populated regions on the globe.
Originally from Melbourne Australia, Simon was educated at University of Melbourne and holds a Degree in Business Management & Marketing. He commenced with AusCham Vietnam in May 2019 with a focus on sponsorship, memberships, engagement with local and Australian business by open dialogue and communication.
