CPA Australia, RMIT Centre of Digital Excellence (CoDE) and AusCham Vietnam are delighted to co-host a very interesting webinar workshop for our members and stakeholders across the region about blockchain implications in the age of COVID-19.
The webinar will first discuss how the economic and technological change consequences of COVID-19 accelerate the general case for blockchain as new economic infrastructure. It will then discuss a series of particular applications and use cases such as:
Identity technology, medical records and quarantine passports as bio-medical economic infrastructure to enable economic reopening
Central Bank Digital Currencies for fast targeted transfer payments and tax rebates for citizens and businesses
Quantity assurance in supply chains, especially of medical equipment, PPE, or drug supplies
After the webinar, participants would be able to take away key knowledge about:
The different ways that COVID-19 will drive economic transformation of industries and trade, and digital adoption
The strategic business and government policy implications and opportunities
How these economic forces translate into new demand for decentralised digital technologies, including blockchain technologies, and new business models
How blockchain can be used for medical tracking and assurance
How governments can use blockchain for direct payments and economic management in a time of crisis
How blockchain based supply chains can provide transparency and security to essential supplies
The webinar will be delivered in English.
Please reserve your slot before 2:00pm on 14th July 2020.
