Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Partner, LNT & PARTNERS Dr. Anh Tuan Nguyen is a partner in charge of the firm’s Corporate practice group. Leading multinational companies in the pharmaceutical, FMCG and consumer goods industries regularly seek Dr. Nguyen’s expert advice in matters concerning importation, distribution, sales and antitrust. He leads a team specialized in the healthcare sector and antitrust. Dr. Nguyen has been singled out for his work in the healthcare practice in Vietnam by Asialaw for being “very knowledgeable of the healthcare industry as well as the local environment.” In corporate and antitrust matters, he advises client in various issues including Greenfield investment, M&A, corporate restructuring, filing for clearance and compliance trainings, along with specific experience in commercial dispute settlements. Dr. Nguyen is recognized by the legal community as one of the few qualified competition law experts in Vietnam who has an in-depth understanding of international antitrust regulations and their application under Vietnamese Competition Law. Dr. Nguyen was a lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Law for more than 10 years. Currently, he is a visiting lecturer for lawyer certification courses at the Judicial Academy in Ho Chi Minh City and regular speaker at domestic and international forums. Dr. Nguyen has also authored numerous legal articles and books, which have been circulated as academic materials by educational institutions including Wolters Kluwer and Global Competition Review. Tiong Hooi Ong, Partner, PWC Ong Tiong Hooi is a Transaction Services Partner of PwC Vietnam. Based out of Ho Chi Minh City, Tiong Hooi helps his foreign and local clients transform their businesses by providing advice and insights on different types of transactions in their deal-making journey. Leveraging on his 21 years of cumulative experience in audit, commercial accounting and due diligence, he has worked on projects covering financial due diligence, vendor due diligence and vendor assistance, review of sales and purchase and transition service agreements, carve-out reviews, and more. Tiong Hooi spent the last 17 years building a solid Transaction Services practice. His experience spans a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, distribution and retail, real estate and construction, education, media, pharmaceutical, logistics, information technology, telecommunications etc.
