Earth Day Clean Up at a Glance
I. Purpose and impact:
a. Purpose:▪ Spread the message of keeping Vietnam beautiful and free of littering. ▪ Raise awareness of the mass public about littering and protecting the environment.
b. Impact:▪ Attract at least 2,000 participants gathering to clean up public places throughout Vietnam. ▪ Raise awareness about anti-littering and protecting the environment for more than 300,000 people.
II. Participants:▪ Employees of businesses ▪ Students from universities and high schools ▪ Members of social organizations ▪ Tourists
III. Event milestone
a. Press Release▪ Date: April 12, 2018
b. Earth Day Cleanup▪ Date: April 22, 2018 ▪ Time: 08:30 – 11:00 ▪ Main locations: at 5 provinces, including: Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Da Nang, Hue, Phu Quoc. Besides, Vi ệ t Nam Sạch Và Xanh encourages other Individuals and Organizations to organize their own cleanup in their neighbor rhood to maximize the positive impact to the community. ▪ Main activities: Clean up the street and public places; mini games to share knowledge spread the message of keeping Vietnam clean and green.
