Exponential growth of technology-enabled solutions has created ample of unprecedented opportunities toward building an inclusive and sustainable economy, ecology and society across borders. At the core of an ever-increasing connected cyber world, human connection counts, tremendously, toward collaboration for conscious wealth creation and for social good.
SMEs and family businesses, that have been operating in traditional businesses module, may feel vulnerable and may choose to wait for the next shoe to drop and some tech-enabled disruptive model to take over their market. Or SMEs and family businesses, can be equipped with how technology can actually help to build on their fundamental strength of being agile, cost-effective, efficient and hard-tobeat humanized relationship with customers.
According to a recent Mastercard study, 31.3% of businesses in Vietnam are owned by women. When women do participate in entrepreneurial pursuits, their companies are often smaller operations compared to men’s and in fields more prone to economic instability. Women are more likely to own retail and wholesale business as opposed to manufacturing. While technology becomes more critical for business success, it is even more important for female to be involved in this male-dominant area and stay informed and inspired to optimize technology to advance their business operational efficiency.
WHY WE ORGANIZE THE EVENTThe point of technology advancement is to do things cheaper and faster, which should be exactly why those are made for SMEs, and families businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs.
