Vietnam’s GDP has been growing at 2.12% by the end of the 3rd quarter in 2020. Having not only been hit hard by COVID-19 like many other industries, the real estate market has been affected by the legal issues, making new projects not possible to launch. 2020 is the second consecutive year that the primary market has been less active due to limited supply. However, the demand has still been high, with the primary selling price is still in a positive trend, and even increases slightly both in Ha Noi and HCMC. Beside those short term challenges, the government has pushed on investing in infrastructure development, taking it as one of the keys to unlock economic growth, and push forward the real estate market in the long term by connecting and master planning different regions.
Forbes Vietnam – Real Estate Conference 2020 under the theme Rising above the Headwinds will provide updated market information and real estate investment trends. It is also a platform for business people and experts to exchange creative solutions, to propose macroeconomic policy recommendations and to explore new investment opportunities and market promotion. The event gathers leading companies and organizations, investors, real estate developers in Vietnam and regions, who will share their perspectives regarding the residential, commercial, hospitality and industrial segments, as well as new trends that affect the market in the long-term.
