UPCOMING AUSKICK SCHEDULE
Saturday 11th August AIS CAMPUS
Saturday 18th August RMIT, D7 CAMPUS
Saturday 25th August AIS CAMPUS until end of Auskick year.
On Saturday the 18th of August, Saigon Colts will be hosting South Melbourne Districts Auskick on their yearly trip to Vietnam.
We are planning a big day event for this day, we will be relocating for that weekend to RMIT University Campus in District 7 and have a special start time of 10.45am.
We will hold a joint Auskick session with the visiting 20 Melbourne Auskickers from Australia, then after a BBQ lunch.
After the BBQ for our Auskickers we will have Jumping Castles.
For entertainment, local Australian Rules Football Club, The Vietnam Swans, will be holding a tournament with Cambodia Eagles after our Auskick.
A great opportunity for our local Auskickers to watch some games to see why we kick the funny ball around.
The tournament will finish up at around 4.30pm, however families are welcome to leave when they wish after our Auskick session and BBQ.
Event Details
10.45am Arrive at RMIT University, 702 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7.
11.00am Auskick starts
12.30pm BBQ Lunch and Jumping Castle Entertainment
12.30pm – 4.30pm Vietnam Swans & Cambodia Eagles Tournament
AUSKICK UNIFORM
Please wear Saigon Colts for the first part of the day activities.
Auskickers are welcome to change to their AFL tops after the first hour.
CAR PARKING
Sadly, RMIT do not allow cars to park on the campus, I have been advised that you can park on the road but the police may fine you. The only option they offered was to park at VIVO City and Grab/Taxi to the campus.
Motorbikes can be parked at the campus, then you just need to walk to the sports grounds.
VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for help during the day, especially cooking and help serving.
