About The Hon Martin Pakula MP
Martin Pakula is the Victorian Minister for Jobs, Innovation and Trade, Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events, Minister for Racing and Member for Keysborough.
He was elected to the Legislative Council as the member for Western Metropolitan Region in 2006. Between 2006 and 2010, he held the following ministerial appointments of Parliamentary Secretary for Transport and Parliamentary Secretary for Roads and Ports.
Martin then served as Minister for Industry and Trade, Minister for Industrial Relations and Minister for Public Transport. In Opposition, Martin was the Shadow Attorney-General, Shadow Minister for Gaming and Racing, Shadow Minister for Corrections and Opposition Scrutiny of Government spokesperson.
In 2013, Martin moved to the Legislative Assembly in a by-election for the seat of Lyndhurst, which was subsequently renamed Keysborough. In the Andrews Government’s first term, he held the position of Attorney-General and Minister for Racing.
