Sundowners in May 2020 is going virtual.
These days, in a COVID-19 era of social distancing and lockdowns, people are experiencing isolation related anxiety and potential health side effects; with this in mind, AusCham is moving the monthly Sundowners networking event to a Virtual Platform using ZOOM for people to connect from virtually anywhere on the globe but with a focus on the major cities in Vietnam being Ha Noi, HCMC and Da Nang.
The Sundowners May edition will follow the same format as other Sundowners events held over the past 22 years of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam - with our special guest, HE Robyn Mudie, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam who will speak followed by a Q&A session.
Virtually means your health which is paramount is protected - stay home, stay in the office, no need for booking taxi’s or Grab, no drama finding a car park or contending with traffic, if its raining - you have no excuse not to attend. We hope to see you at the first ever virtual Sundowners at 6:00 pm on Thursday 7 May 2020 for a very new experience.
The night will have MC’s, guest speakers, prize giveaways, a separate virtual networking, new members, event updates and news items - this will be totally interactive by way of questions to the MC’s or meeting ‘regulars’ in our Networking Room. We have arranged F&B providers to create simple Sundowner menus and drink to deliver to you prior to the event as well - so please take advantage of this service and support our members.
