The World Bank Group has developed the draft analysis on “Maximizing Financing for Development (MDF)” for the energy sector in Vietnam and would kindly request VBF’s comments on this Draft and cooperation to organize the relevant conference in May 2018. The analysis is conducted in the context that Vietnam’s traditional financing model for energy infrastructure, which has relied mostly on public finance, is no longer sustainable under the changing macroeconomic and sectoral context.
The World Bank Group in collaboration with VBF will organize 02 roundtable discussions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on the topic of Maximizing Financing for Development for the energy sector in Vietnam. Mr. Ousmane Dione - WB Country Director and Mr. Tomaso Andreatta - VBF Co-Chair will moderate these events. You are cordially invited to the discussions with following details:
Hanoi:

- The meetings will be followed with a buffet lunch.
