About
The Australian Consulate-General, in coordination with the Australian Embassy, maintains and develops the Australia-Vietnam bilateral relationship in a range of areas, including trade and investment, public affairs, education and training, law enforcement, and immigration.
The Australian Consulate-General includes representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), the Department of Home Affairs (HA), and the Australian Federal Police (AFP).
Both the Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City and the Embassy in Hanoi provide consular and passport services for Australians in Vietnam. The Australian Government accords a high priority to the provision of assistance to its citizens in need overseas.
