Mavin Group is a foreign invested corporation, between Australia and Vietnam. We are proud of our Australian connection and our Vietnamese innovation. So far, we are one of only a few corporations in Vietnam capable of providing a fully integrated supply chain “from Farm to Table”, with animal feed, veterinary pharmacy, breeder farming and food processing.

To date, Mavin Group has built and operates five feedmills in the provinces of Hung Yen, Nghe An, Binh Dinh, and Dong Thap. All are equipped with international standard state of the art production lines from Buhler, Switzerland. We were the first company in Vietnam to adopt new and unique technology from Buhler. The total production capacity of all feedmills is 1 million tons/per year. Products are feed for swine, poultry, cattle and aquafeed.

Since 2012, Mavin invested in swine genetics, with establishment of a Swine Genetics Centre in Hung Yen, with a capacity of 1,200 sows. We have the best pure swine genetics and we have the best breeding technolgy and procedures in Vietnam. The founding stock are imported from a reputable pig breeder from the United Kingdom. Through to 2020, Mavin plans to provide 50,000 sows and will be able to produce about 500,000 pigs to market and for export. Mavin also invested in aquaculture with advanced technology as InPond Raceway Aquaculture and Norwegian round cage Aquaculture. Now we are the biggest provider of tilapiah fingerlings in Vietnam.

Mavin Group is also the major shareholder of Cai Lay Veterinary Pharmacy Joint Stock Company – Mekovet, a listed company on the Vietnam Stock Exchange. Mekovet now runs a sophisticated production plant valued at $US 5 million, built to WHO–GMP standards in Tien Giang province, in the Mekong Delta.

In 2012, Mavin Group established Mavin Foods Joint Venture Company, with the goal to provide high quality, safe and hygienic meat products. With $US 8 million investment, Mavin built a sophisticated meat processing plant in Ha Nam province, with full production capacity of 10,000 tons/year of sausages, ham and cold cuts. With pork from our own farms and with the plant equipped with the latest technology from Germany, we can guarantee meat hygiene and safety. Our latest innovation is ready to cook meals, which truly completes our full farm to table supply chain, another first for Vietnam.

Over the years, the Mavin Group has supported thousands of farming households in Vietnam so that they could have the opportunity to participate in our integrated supply chain. This business model has become the norm, studied and widely developed across the country.
