Starting as a vocational institution in 1991, Hoa Sen University (HSU) is now considered one of the best private universities in Vietnam in terms of world-class teaching staff and state-of-the-art teaching facilities.

HSU currently has nine faculties, namely Economics and Business; Design and Art; Information and Technology; Social Sciences and Humanities; Finance – Banking; Logistics and International Trade; Tourism; Law; Languages and International Culture. It attracts over 3,000 students every year who seek training in 2 graduate programs and 38 undergraduate programs with around 95% of graduates getting jobs right after graduation.

In 2021, HSU has been accredited with four stars out of the five stars by Britain's QS Stars, as an international university ranking organization, and valuable international quality accreditations: ACBSP, AUN-QA, MOET...

Since its establishment, Hoa Sen has been actively setting the benchmark in Vietnamese excellence in training, research, and community engagement. HSU aims to become an international university not only for the Vietnamese people but also for students from the Southeast East Asia region.
