About
Nigel is originally from Bathurst, NSW. He graduated in law and economics from the Australian National University in Canberra, and worked as a lawyer in Darwin and Sydney before moving to Hanoi in 1993. Nigel became a partner of Phillips Fox in 1996 and moved south to open its branch office in HCMC in 1997. He was a partner of Allens Arthur Robinson, in charge of its HCMC office, from 2007 to 2011.
In 2006, Nigel and his wife, Thuy, opened the Australian International School. Nigel is the former Chairman of the School and a past President of AusCham.
