Dr Foster brings 30 years of experience in management and entrepreneurship, combining a robust practical background in business with academic excellence. His extensive real-life experience enhances his teaching and research, particularly in the context of higher education in Vietnam and the broader Southeast Asia region.
As the Vice Dean of the International School of Business at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Foster successfully developed international programs through strategic partnerships with top foreign universities, including Western Sydney University and the University of Quebec Montreal. His research is particularly impactful in analysing the effects of intellectual capital on firm performance in small and medium enterprises across 15 developing countries in Asia.
Dr. Foster is dedicated to advancing higher education in Vietnam, with a focus on equipping students with the skills necessary to compete globally. He now serves as the Provost of Western Sydney University Vietnam, where he continues to drive academic and operational excellence.
