Rod graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and moved to Vietnam as National Sales Manager and then Country Manager of Yellow Pages. He is a Director of Get Involved Vietnam Ltd. managing an investment in Saigon Spice Co and a Director of Saigon Sound System promoting international music festivals and artists in Vietnam. He has recently opened a dedicated event space called Q4 in District 4 that contains a regular live music venue called CARGO. He is a Shareholder of Mui Ne Sailing Club, now renamed Mia Resort Mui Ne. He is part owner of Boathouse and Pacharan Tapas and Bodega. Rod aims to create sustainable business in Vietnam that have a positive impact on Vietnam’s future and create multiple employment opportunities for the local marketplace. He works in partnership with his wife Nhan on most of his business interests and together they have two children, Kim Xuyen and Timothy John. He is a former AusCham President.
