AFL Asian Championships in Thailand

Saturday 9 September 2023 will see sports diplomacy in action with the Thailand Tigers Football Club (TTFC) presenting the first of a three-year series for the AFL Asian Championships in Thailand.

The Asian Championships is AFL Asia’s premier event, and one of the biggest celebrations of Australian football internationally. With over 20 teams from 12 countries competing annually, the AFL 2023 Asian Championships will be held at the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club in Chon Buri, Thailand, on Saturday the 9th of September in what is a celebration of the power of sport to connect across borders.

Teams competing at the AFL 2023 Asian Championships include: Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand & Vietnam.
