ASEAN Customs Transit System (ACTS) Online Conference

The ASEAN Customs Transit System (ACTS) has commenced its live operations among its participating ASEAN Member States since 2 November 2020. Coordinated by the Customs and Land Transport Authorities of the participating ASEAN Member States, the ACTS offers an administratively simple and cost advantageous procedure to carry goods across Customs territories outside the normal import and export Customs regimes which will benefit the business environment and operations. To initiate more ACTS transit movements among the participating ASEAN member states, the Bi-Weekly ACTS Online Conference was designed to help interested companies register in ACTS and kick off their live cross-border movement operations under ACTS procedure. Interested companies can also directly contact the Customs Authorities of the ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Secretariat, and ARISE Plus programme in relation to their participation in ACTS. The bi-weekly online conference is also designed to receive inputs and feedback from Private Sector, Customs and Land Transport Authorities as well as raise awareness of the Traders, Business Associations, Logistics Operators, Banks, and Customs brokers in participating ASEAN Member states.
