HCMC, 4 July 2025 – The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham) proudly participated in the official opening ceremony of the 2025 Sourcing Fair of Supporting Industry with Buyers (SFS 2025), held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre. AusCham’s Executive Director joined distinguished guests to cut the ribbon and inaugurate the event, reinforcing Australia’s continued support for Vietnam’s deeper integration into global supply chains.

Organised by the HCM City Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the Saigon Hi-Tech Park Management Board and the HCM City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority, SFS 2025 marked its eighth edition with a strong focus on supply chain connectivity and industrial growth.

This year’s fair brought together 20 major foreign investors and Vietnamese manufacturers from high-tech sectors such as electronics, automotive, aerospace, medical equipment, and precision machinery. More than 100 Vietnamese supporting-industry enterprises joined the event, participating in over 300 structured B2B meetings with buyers. The hybrid format allowed for both in-person and online interactions, expanding access for global partners.

In addition to the business matching programme, the fair featured a technical workshop highlighting global sourcing trends and emerging opportunities in high-value sectors such as semiconductors and advanced manufacturing.

Delivering remarks at the ceremony, AusCham’s Executive Director underscored the Chamber’s commitment to supporting Vietnamese enterprises-particularly SMEs-in establishing sustainable and mutually beneficial links with foreign-invested projects and multinational supply chains.

Since its inception, the sourcing fair has connected 136 foreign-invested enterprises with 470 Vietnamese suppliers, facilitating over 2,100 one-on-one meetings. The initiative plays a pivotal role in helping domestic manufacturers upgrade production capacity, improve quality standards, and align with international market requirements.

AusCham extends its congratulations to the organisers on another successful edition and looks forward to continued collaboration in promoting trade, investment, and innovation between Australia and Vietnam.
