AusCham Vietnam Joins Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam and The Hacker Exchange for Student Achievement Awards and MOU Signing Ceremony

HCMC, 15 July, 2025 – AusCham Vietnam was proud to join two of our esteemed members, Melbourne Polytechnic Vietnam (MPV) and The Hacker Exchange (HEX), in celebrating a shared commitment to education and innovation at a special event held at The Sentry.

The occasion featured a Student Achievement Awards Ceremony and the formal Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between MPV and HEX. Representing AusCham, Executive Director Mr. Edwin Law and Board Director & Treasurer Mrs. Olivia Wood were honoured guests at the event.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Edwin Law applauded the collaboration, stating that it represents “a testament to the power of collaboration and the shared vision for excellence that thrives within the AusCham network.” He also acknowledged the significant value such partnerships bring to students and the wider business and education communities.

The ceremony highlighted the accomplishments of exceptional students, with AusCham representatives proudly presenting awards to recognise their academic excellence, dedication, and leadership.

The newly signed MOU outlines strategic areas of cooperation between MPV and HEX, including:

  • Student practicums and observation programs

  • Industry referrals and international branding support

  • Soft skills training

  • Joint initiatives such as scholarships and skills competitions

These initiatives aim to enrich student learning experiences and foster a stronger connection between education and industry, contributing to a more dynamic, skilled, and future-ready workforce in Vietnam and the region.
