Australia Day Celebration 2023

Ho Chi Minh City, 14 January 2023 – AusCham and the Australian Consulate in HCMC hosted Australia Day to celebrate Australia's National Day at Jaspas in Thao Dien prior to the traditional date of 26 January due to school holidays and the upcoming Lunar New Year or TET holidays. The day was chance for  friends and families to catch up after many people had traveled for Christmas and New Year and prior to TET. During the day, AusCham and the Vietnam Swans ran a raffle during the event and successfully raised more than 20 Million VND to support the Vietkick Program which gives underprivileged local children an opportunity to be involved and play Australian Rules Football in Vietnam.
