Australia - Vietnam Enhanced Economic Engagement Strategy is publicly released

Vietnam and Australia share an ambition to boost bilateral trade and investment to support both countries’ sustainable, inclusive economic growth. The Strategy and its Implementation Plan set out a vision for how we can work together to strengthen two-way trade and investment. 

Vietnam and Australia released the Australian Vietnam Enhanced Economic Engagement Strategy (EEES), an ambitious strategy that will unlock significant opportunities for businesses across the two countries. A series of mutually beneficial, practical initiatives will support Australian and Vietnamese business and industry to deepen trade and investment links in agriculture, education, energy, services and the digital economy.

Economic engagement is a pillar of Australia and Vietnam’s Strategic Partnership, which is built on the strongest foundations of mutual trust, understanding and respect.
