This Dialogue will discuss the current situation and challenges affecting the Australian-Vietnam cattle and beef trade.

About this event

The Australian and Vietnamese industry and Government have had little formal engagement since the beginning of COVID. The Blueprint project is supported by the Australian Government and is part of the Australia-Vietnam Enhanced Economic Engagement Strategy (AVEEES).

It will support bilateral consultations and engagement with Government, business and industry stakeholders from Australia and Vietnam via a series of dialogues and roundtables during 2021-2023 to discuss current challenges and identify strategic priorities for investment in this new trading environment.

This will culminate in guidelines for developing the Australian-Vietnamese beef supply chain to encourage and direct investment beyond trading cattle.

As part of these bilateral initiatives, the first of several Blueprint Dialogues will be held for Australian and Vietnamese government, industry, and business representatives to share their knowledge and views about the current situation and issues affecting the Australian-Vietnam cattle and beef trade and wider industries, within the current market and COVID-19 recovery context.

The First Dialogue is an open event for interested industry stakeholders and investors and will have both a physical (Hanoi) and a virtual element.
