CALLING FOR YOUNG LEADERS FROM AUSTRALIA AND VIETNAM!

The application for Australia Vietnam Young Leadership Dialogue is now open.

As the flagship initiative dedicated to forging and nurturing leadership that bolsters the Australia - Vietnam bilateral relationship, the Australia Vietnam Leadership Dialogue proudly announces the launch of the 2024 Dialogue. This year, we focus on the theme 'Strategic Partners: Elevating Our Region' as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Australia - ASEAN bilateral relationship. This milestone stands as a testament to our enduring partnership and shared vision for progress and prosperity.

The 2024 Dialogue will be held in Melbourne, Victoria. Delegates will address key issues and topics relating to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and reflect on how their respective countries and the bilateral relationship can continue to achieve sustainable development. All expenses for selected delegates to attend the Dialogue will be covered by AVLD.

Eligibility:

• Aged between 25-35;
• Have a demonstrated interest in Australia or Vietnam;(ie. the country in which they do not permanently reside)
• Fluent in English

Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated existing leadership qualities;
• Demonstrated potential for significant impact in their country in the next 15 years;
• Current or proposed initiatives with ties to Australia or Vietnam;
• Commitment to participate in AVLD activities, including the ability to travel internationally/domestically.
