From Education to Empowerment: AusCham and Blue Dragon’s Journey of Impact

It has been a year since AusCham donated $9,000 to support ethnic minority youth in Dien Bien and Ha Giang, and we are proud to share the lasting impact this contribution has made. Through this partnership with Blue Dragon, 13 young people are now pursuing promising careers in fields such as electronics engineering and IT, with their tuition and living expenses fully covered. This financial support has enabled these students to focus entirely on their education, free from the burden of supporting their families.

While the number of supported students is fewer than initially expected, AusCham’s donation will continue to fund these 13 students all the way through to their graduation in 2026. Beyond financial aid, Blue Dragon’s career development program has played a crucial role in equipping these students with life-changing skills. From online fraud prevention to goal setting and understanding sexual harassment in the workplace, they’ve gained knowledge that will guide them toward safe and fulfilling careers. Blue Dragon’s personal counseling services have also helped these students navigate their challenges, ensuring they have both the emotional and practical support they need to thrive. This partnership extends beyond just education. Blue Dragon has been tirelessly working to rescue children from dangerous situations such as human trafficking and forced labor, while also providing long-term support to help them rebuild their lives. AusCham is proud to support an organization that not only aids in the educational development of vulnerable youth but also offers life-saving services to those most in need.
