SVI is a multidisciplinary research and engagement hub established as a social enterprise under the laws of Vietnam. It is designed to facilitate and strengthen intellectual and creative exchange between Australian and Vietnamese researchers, academics and the broader community.

Building on the University of Sydney’s world-class education and research across a broad range of disciplines and its significant and long-standing academic partnerships in Vietnam over the last 50 years, SVI will realise the University’s vision for sustainable, mutually beneficial cooperation across all levels of higher education and research engagement.

As a Research Funding Specialist, you will be responsible for securing new research funding from diverse sources, including government grants, international donors, philanthropic foundations, and high-net-worth individuals. You will play a key role in identifying funding opportunities, cultivating relationships, and working closely with researchers to develop compelling grant proposals.

This role primarily supports research within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney, while also providing assistance in other key research areas. The position reports directly to the SVI Institute Director.
