Heart Reach Australia & Thanh Loc Project AusCham Charity Ball Donation Ceremony

Friday 6 January 2023 - The 2022 AusCham Charity Ball met with success on many levels but none so great as presenting the much need funds to our 5 AusCham Charity Partners during this week. What an honor after so much work to present cheques to Ms. Mai Nguyen, Country Representative Heart Reach Australia in Vietnam, Rodney Stone, founder of Thanh Loc Project in HCMC.

Ms. Mai Nguyen, is a direct beneficiary of the Heart Reach Australia scholarships that allowed her finish her secondary education then to go on and study at RMIT Vietnam with her Final Year at RMIT in Melbourne; such opportunities are rare but demonstrate how all children can go on to to do great things when they are supported.

Rodney Stone who set up the Thanh Loc Project in 2009 to give much needed funds for infrastructure and Student Education Scholarships has been able to lift hundreds of children and their families out of poverty and for them to contribute back to a stronger and healthier community. 

AusCham is proud to continue to support these amazing Australian run charity initiatives and help raise much needed funds to enable our most vulnerable communities to flourish.
