Invitation to Consultation Workshop with the Government of Vietnam on Draft VAT Law (Amended)

Dear AusCham Member and Friends, 

The Value Added Tax (VAT) Law (Amended) project (hereinafter referred to as the "Draft Law") has been initiated by the Ministry of Finance and is expected to be discussed at the upcoming National Assembly’s Session in May 2024.  

Value Added Tax (VAT) is among the most important tax policies with broad-reaching implications for most individuals and businesses. Given the importance of this Draft Law and the significant interest from businesses, Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) will organize a workshop for in-depth discussion with a focus on FDI relevant issues.

From the government side, representatives of relevant Departments from the General Department of Tax, Ministry of Finance, the National Assembly, and the Office of the Government are expected to attend the event.

AusCham and VBF would like to invite you to join the workshop with the following details:
