We’re excited to announce that AVGA is now the proud community partner of the LQT Golf Tournament 2024. The champion will receive an exclusive invitation to compete at the 15th anniversary of the Australian Vietnamese Golf Association (AVGA) in Sydney on November 3rd, 2024.

The tournament’s namesake, Dr. Ly Qui Trung (LQT), is a long-time AVGA golfer and former single-digit handicapper. Since the late 1990s, Dr. LQT has built an impressive career in Australia as an academic, entrepreneur, and visionary leader, while maintaining a passion for golf. In collaboration with Western Sydney University and the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. LQT founded the LQT Institute of Modern Entrepreneurs. The Institute offers a unique curriculum designed to shape the next generation of entrepreneurs. It provides not only traditional business education but also essential soft skills—including golf etiquette! The course “Essential Soft Skills for Entrepreneurs” introduces students to the game of golf, an innovative addition to help cultivate character, integrity, and determination—qualities essential for future business leaders.
