Modular Construction Masters Eyes Manufacturing Expansion with Multi-Million Dollar Raise

AusCham member Modular Construction Masters (MCM) has been featured in the Australian Financial Review’s Street Talk section following the launch of a major capital raising initiative aimed at expanding the company’s manufacturing capabilities in the modular construction sector.

Founded in 2025 by industry veteran Terry Gordon, MCM designs and coordinates the fabrication of custom modular buildings across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors. The company is now seeking to expand into manufacturing as demand for prefabricated and off-site construction solutions continues to grow globally.

According to the Australian Financial Review, the US$30 million (approximately AUD $42 million) raise is being led by Eaglehawk Capital’s Tony Newham and structured as a two-phase process. The initial phase seeks to raise US$4 million to support prototype development and the production of the company’s first 216 modular units over the next 18 months.

The article noted that modular housing continues to gain momentum amid Australia’s housing shortages and rising construction material and labour costs. MCM’s modular units are designed to be prefabricated in a factory environment before being transported and assembled on-site, helping improve efficiency, scalability and project delivery timelines.

MCM projects approximately US$12.3 million in revenue and US$1.5 million EBITDA over the next 18 months based on the initial capital raise. The company’s current growth plans include building manufacturing capacity, expanding operations and positioning itself as a leader within the rapidly growing modular construction segment.

Prior to founding MCM, Terry Gordon worked on several major modular construction projects, including an 88-room modular hotel and a 78-unit townhouse development in New Zealand.

AusCham congratulates Modular Construction Masters on this exciting milestone and looks forward to seeing the company continue contributing innovative building solutions to the market.
