The multi-level offices – a world-class workplace with innovative interior design – is part of NAB’s plans to expand its technology workforce in Vietnam. Ranked second among Australia’s Big 4 banks, the National Australia Bank (NAB) is also one of Australia’s largest private foreign investors in Vietnam.
NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam’s General Director Howard Silby said the new office signaled NAB’s expansion and “will help NAB to attract the talented innovators needed to broaden our global workforce and bring more tech talent in-house.”

The office will house hundreds of software developers, data scientists, digital designers, software engineers, and data analysts. “This investment reflects our commitment to Vietnam and will help to make NAB an even greater place to work,” Mr Silby said.
In addition to flexible and green workspaces, the 8,500 sqm offices house a canteen and communal games area, modular workstations, and stunning views across the Ba Son Bridge.

A loyal NAB customer, Australia’s Ambassador to Vietnam HE Andrew Goledzinowski said he felt like he’d stepped off the street and into the future. “I think NAB is making the future today,” he said.

“Australia and Vietnam have complementary interests in technology and digital transformation,” Mr Goledzinowski remarked. “NAB’s commitment to supporting local talent in Vietnam to pursue career opportunities in technology through this expansion is an excellent example of this commitment in practice.”

The grand opening ceremony was marked by traditional folk dance, lion dance and drum performance, and a shared ribbon cutting ceremony.

Keynote speakers included Mr. Patrick Wright, Group Executive, National Australia Bank; Mr. Howard Silby, General Director, NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam; Mr. Andrew Goledzinowski, Australian Ambassador to Vietnam; and Ms. Tran Thi Hong Lan, Deputy General Director at the State Agency for Technology Innovation, Ministry of Science and Technology.
