NAB Vietnam and PTIT Sign MOU to Boost Tech Talent in Vietnam
Hanoi, 21 January 2026 - NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam (NAB Vietnam) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) to support the development of Vietnam’s future technology talent.
The agreement was signed by Hanh Tran, General Director of NAB Vietnam, and Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of PTIT.
The signing ceremony, attended by Deputy Minister Hoang Minh from the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ms. Renee Deschamps, the Australian Chargé d'Affaires a.i. to Vietnam, reflects a shared commitment to advancing innovation and digital transformation.

PTIT hosts the Vietnam - Australia Strategic Technologies Centre, a collaboration between Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and Vietnam's Ministry of Science and Technology. This partnership paves the way for the NAB Vietnam - PTIT initiative, focused on creating practical opportunities for students and professionals.
This MOU enables NAB Vietnam and PTIT to integrate industry insights into academic programs, offer students practical experience through internships and placements, and involves NAB Vietnam in career events and lectures.
Hanh Tran, General Director of NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam, said, "This partnership reflects our strong commitment to nurturing Vietnam’s future technology talent and creating pathways for students and professionals to thrive in a dynamic global technology landscape."
Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hoai Bac, President of PTIT, added: "We are delighted to collaborate with NAB Vietnam to provide PTIT students with opportunities that bridge academic learning and practical experience."
Sharing at the ceremony, Ms. Renee Deschamps, the Australian Chargé d'Affaires a.i. to Vietnam said: “This partnership is a strong example of Australia and Vietnam’s shared vision in technology, innovation and education collaboration – strengthening skills development and supporting the next generation of Vietnam’s tech talent.”
NAB Vietnam has a strong track record in fostering tech talent through programs such as StarCamp and WeCamp, which provide hands-on experience and mentorship to over 500 students. The company’s dedication to people and innovation has earned regional recognition, including being named among the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work for in Southeast Asia 2025, a certified Great Place to Work, and recipient of the Asian Technology Excellence Award 2025.

As a member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham), NAB’s partnership with PTIT reflects the broader commitment of the Australian business community to long-term skills development and industry–academia collaboration in Vietnam. AusCham welcomes initiatives like this that contribute to Vietnam’s digital transformation agenda, strengthen innovation linkages between Australia and Vietnam, and support the development of a future-ready technology workforce.
This collaboration also aligns with AusCham’s advocacy priorities around human capital development, digital capability building, and deeper people-to-people connections as key pillars of sustainable bilateral economic growth.
