Reception for the Minister for Trade and Tourism the Honorable Don Farrell

Wednesday 19 April – AusCham, AusHub and the Australian Government in Vietnam welcomed The Australian Minister for Trade and Tourism, Senator, the Honorable Don Farrell, to AusHub Reception at The Sentry Connect in HCMC, Vietnam.
AusCham was honored to have the Minister visit the AusCham & AusHub offices, to meet many of our Sponsors and Members and for him to share his thoughts on his visit to Vietnam.
AusCham Executive Director, Simon Fraser welcomed the Minister and dignitaries to the office and event sharing a message about the current landscape for business in Vietnam; Simon Pugh, President of AusCham spoke about the strong relationship between Australia and Vietnam with 2023 being the 50th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and AusCham's 25th anniversary of presence in Vietnam; Sam Conroy, AusCham Board Member outlined the plan for the Australian Industry Hub (AusHub) and its first strategic industry bodies – Wine Australia, Wool Producers Australia, and Summer Fruits. After the official event, AusCham Members and Friends networked and engaged with AusCham and Australian government officials during the afternoon.
