RMIT University Vietnam has announced the talented recipients of its 2024 scholarship program, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to educational excellence and accessibility.

The 2024 scholarship program saw unprecedented interest, with 1,900 applications received across 19 ca egories, encompassing foundation studies, undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs. The University has awarded 105 scholarships valued at more than 53.2 billion VND to students from Vietnam and other countries, and 21 of which were awarded to current students, recognising their outstanding academic results.

Dean of Students at RMIT Vietnam, Associate Professor Seng Kiat Kok expressed his delight at the calibre of this year’s recipients and noted that the scholarship committee was truly impressed while reviewing the submissions. The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholars, one of the University’s most prestigious scholarship categories, were awarded to seven high school students who achieved exemplary academic grades and demonstrated outstanding community engagement and leadership potential. Candidates had to submit an introduction video, personal statement, recommendation letters, and a digital portfolio highlighting their extracurricular activities and achievements. The selection process involved three rounds, including screening, shortlisting, and an interview in English. The scholarship covers 100 per cent of the undergraduate program tuition fee.
