Support Vietnam Charity Walk
There are an estimated 26 million children living in Vietnam, with 1 in 5 experiencing deprivations in health, education, shelter, nutrition, water, and/or sanitation. Living with such disadvantages, it is estimated that around 100 children under the age of 5 die here every day. With one-third of all children under the age of 16 considered to be poor, and many forced to live on the streets, this prevailing poverty means that children between the ages of 5 and 14 are forced into early labour.
As a result, the work of charitable organisations in Vietnam in addressing this poverty is of paramount importance. Charities such as the Thanh Loc Project and Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation are on the front line, aiding children in need and helping them not only survive but thrive. The need for support for children in Vietnam is something that Vietnam Charity Walk feels needs immediate support and action. It is an ongoing issue, and one that needs to be at the forefront of
change immediately.
This is where Vietnam Charity Walk: A Walk for Change is hoping to make a significant difference.
Commencement Date: Saturday, 2 December 2023 from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City (approx. 2,000km)
