A “SPECIAL” CONVOCATION CEREMONY AT VINUNIVERSITY

AusCham was honored to be invited and attended the incredible Convocation Ceremony of the 2022-2023 academic year with the theme “Be the Change to Change the World!” at VinUniversity in early October. AusCham congratulates VinUniversity on their achievement of Youngest University in the Asia – Pacific Region to Receive 5 Star QS Ratings in 7 Criteria. 

After 2 years of operation, VinUniversity students and teachers have gradually made astounding progress on their journey to become a university of excellence with a mission to develop talents for the future.

  • A full-house at VinUniversity's 15of the 2022-2023 academic year with the theme “Be the Change to Change the World!”00-seat Auditorium
  • The Convocation Ceremony was not only attended by lecturers and students, but also by parents. They came to join in the joy and show their support for VinUniversity's missions and values.
  • 11 Ambassadors of Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Israel, South Africa, and Ukraine also came to the Ceremony, along with representatives of Embassies of the US, Australia, South Korea, Colombia, Slovakia, and so on. Vinuniversity currently has students and lecturers from 27 countries. The University also receives a lot of support from Embassies with its international cooperation programs.
  • The Ceremony was also attended by leaders of businesses and organizations (such as Deloitte, EY, Woori Bank, VNPT, 108 Military Hospital, Vinmec International Hospital, etc.) that are offering internships or employment to VinUniversity students. Also in attendance were leaders of high schools that some of our students attended as well as VinUniversity's partner universities and institutions.
  • Students were the focal point of VinUniversity's Convocation Ceremony. They were confident, bright, and full of opinions. Their stories of how they change themselves to change the world - being merely 20-or-so years old - as well as the University and industry leaders' commitment to supporting students in their chosen path left a strong impression on attendees.

VinUniversity students can choose to work on their own start-ups, in big companies, MNCs, government, non-profit organizations, or pursue research and academia. Whatever their path, VinUniversity always seeks to provide them with the best conditions to achieve success and become future changemakers!
