Webinar - Diversity and Inclusion Culture

The Vietnam economy is confronting with many challenges as many countries tighten their spending, leading to a decrease in the world’s demand for Vietnamese exports. According to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, in general, for the first 8 months of 2023, the total value of exports and imports for the whole country is estimated at $435.23 billion, a decrease of 13.1% compared to the same period last year.

Facing challenges from the market, many organizations and businesses have implemented a series of measures to cut costs, in order to survive and maintain operations, including layoff.

The question posted to leaders and managers is how to retain high – quality key positions for the businesses, maintain their spirit, motivation and performance while ensuring optimal cost management. Additionally, how can they create a foundation to attract talents that will ensure business production and operation after overcoming current challenges? To help businesses find answer to this question, the event of “Diversity and Inclusion Culture, Important factors in shaping social capital that support businesses to overcome economic challenges” hosts experts, leaders and managers with in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in building and implementing corporate culture. This event will provide a fresh perspective on the role of Diversity and Inclusion in times of economic downturn and offer solutions to support businesses to leverage D&I culture to navigate through prevailing difficulties while still achieving cost optimization goals.

This is the second workshop organized by VBCWE amongst a series of events aimed at supporting businesses in understanding the role and value of D&I in sustainable development in general, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) in particular.
