HCMC, 15 March – AusCham is delighted to welcome Viet-Uc Seafood Group as a new Corporate member in 2021/22. Viet-Uc Seafood Group is a leading aquaculture company in Vietnam. Founded in 2001 by an Vietnamese-Australian entrepreneur, Viet-Uc now engages in producing and distributing seedstock for shrimp (post larvae) and fish (fingerlings), as well as building fully integrated, fully traceable and sustainable production systems for those species. The group’s main divisions include genetics (selective breeding & broodstock feed), larval rearing (hatchery), nutrition (aquafeed), grow out (super-intensive indoor farming), processing and distribution of aquatic food products. Viet-Uc fully owns and operates 16 facilities along the coastline of Vietnam. Viet-Uc is the largest post larvae producer in Vietnam with roughly 30% market share.
