WASS is one of only two schools in Vietnam licensed by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) to implement Western Australian educational programs and is considered Australia’s Overseas School in Vietnam. Established more than 12 years ago with enthusiasm and the belief “A world-class education with the world in your class”, WASS is currently the home for thousands of students from over 10 different countries around the world. With English as the primary language of instruction, a high-quality academic program, and enthusiastic support from the teaching staff, WASS is committed to providing young generations with a modern, dynamic educational environment with the capacity equivalent to students from advanced countries in the world.
WASS implements Bilingual and International programs from Kindergarten to Year 12, based on the Australian National Curriculum Framework managed by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA). This provides an excellent learning space and a solid foundation for students to develop comprehensively in a multicultural, open, loving and friendly educational environment.
There are many choices for students in their learning and development path at WASS, including two programs licensed by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) in Geneva, Switzerland: The Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) program and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) are two excellent programs that WASS is proud to offer. These are solid foundations for students who plan to study abroad in the future with competitive advantages in terms of qualifications and skills when applying for admission to universities in the UK, US or Australia.
With these two programs, WASS aims for sustainable development, not only providing students with basic knowledge but also the ability to master knowledge and skills to form their own understanding. This will empower them to confidently and strongly step into a challenging world in the future.
In the academic year 2023 - 2024, WASS will implement the Education Saving Packages and the Scholarship Policies exclusively for WACE and IBDP. Accordingly, the tuition fees for these gifted programs only range from 200 to 300 million VND per academic year when parents register for the Education Saving Package. In addition, to spread positive educational messages as well as provide opportunities for Vietnamese students to approach the international-standard gifted programs, WASS launches a Scholarship program in the academic year 2023 - 2024 with a total value of up to 6.5 billion VND, offering nearly 60 scholarships ranging from 20% to 100% of tuition fees for students with outstanding academic achievements.
