Sam is from NSW Australia. Sam’s career commenced in logistics in supervisory role with Linfox Logistics moving to the National Manager Retail at Linfox while completing his Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management MGSM. Sam was expatriated to Vietnam in 2009 as Linfox Logistics Operations Director, Vietnam.

Sam spent 3 years with Linfox in Vietnam as Operations Director before moving to Schenker in Singapore. In 2014, Sam returned to Vietnam as Head of Contract Logistics for Maersk and soon after was promoted to Country Head for Myanmar and then CEO Middle East. Sam settled permanently in Vietnam in 2018 leading DHL and Toll here before joining CEA in 2020 as MD and owner.  
Sam works on secondment at TMX in transformation and also sits on the steering committee for the newly formed AusCham AusHub.
