A qualified social worker and experienced non-profit leader, Skye is co-CEO of Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation. 

With over 20 years’ experience in Australia and Vietnam working with marginalized youth, families and communities, Skye has been involved with Blue Dragon Children's Foundation since 2003. Blue Dragon is an Australian NGO on a mission to end human trafficking in Vietnam. Human trafficking is a complex issue and requires agility, innovation and solid partnerships. Skye has extensive experience leading teams and building leadership within this context. She is experienced and passionate in ensuring people-centred and trauma-informed practices and policies both at an organisational level and at a program level for the people and communities Blue Dragon works alongside. 

Skye has been instrumental in establishing quality youth services, excellent safeguarding policies and procedures, trauma-informed social work and psychology services, and an organisational culture of servant leadership and shared ownership. In 2022, she received the Outstanding Alumni Award from the James Cook University for her “tireless compassion” and “vision for a better world.”
