Official Letter on Draft Outline Amending the Law on Enterprises 2020 to Government

On 14th February 2025, the Vietnam Business Forum (VBF) submitted an Official Letter providing valuable comments on the Draft Outline for amending the Law on Enterprises 2020. 

The submission aimed to offer constructive feedback on the proposed changes to the Law on Enterprises, which governs the operation and regulation of businesses in Vietnam. VBF’s comments reflect the collective input of its diverse membership, emphasizing the importance of fostering a transparent, efficient, and investor-friendly business environment in Vietnam.

AusCham, alongside other VBF members, provided insights on areas where the draft law could be improved to better support businesses operating in the country, with a particular focus on enhancing the legal framework to promote growth and ensure clarity for FDIs.

The submission of the official letter underscores the ongoing collaboration between VBF and the Vietnamese government, aimed at shaping policies that align with the needs of the business community and contribute to the country’s continued economic development.
