Kien Van Nguyen has recently been appointed NSW Trade and Investment Director, Ho Chi Minh City, the State’s lead representative for trade development in the Vietnamese market. The NSW Government has designated Vietnam a priority market through Global NSW, which is the Government’s roadmap to grow world-leading industries, create great places to live and work, and connect NSW to the world.

Key priorities for NSW Government will be strengthening NSW’s longstanding ties with Vietnam through trade and enhanced collaboration in the agribusiness, food and beverage, education and technology sectors. As part of the NSW Government’s Going Global export program, NSW businesses from these sectors will be participating in a series of government supported initiatives to assist market entry in Vietnam throughout 2020-21. The growing Vietnam-NSW relationship is underpinned by Vietnam’s strong economic growth, NSW’s complementary strengths, and ultimately people-to-people links.
